After you place an order our system automatically sends a confirmation email thanking you for the order, perhaps this email ended up in your spam folder? You ordered your book on the 20th at 17:46 and we dispatched it on the 21st and it arrived on the 23rd. We do usually send email confirmation of dispatchment but apologies that on this occasion we forgot to send this email. You contacted us at 7:47am on the 23rd before the package arrived to ask on the status of your order and we responded to this email at 11:08 to apologise for not sending the confirmation email and to confirm that the order had been dispatched.
Again, I apologise for the dispatchment email not being sent but I do believe it is unfair to state that communication was non-existent. |

Thanks for your feedback John. I'm sorry you feel disappointed. Your order was placed at 9:57 pm on Dec 27th and we posted it by Royal Mail second class the following morning, Dec 28th. Once Items are posted we don't have any control on the speed of delivery (your parcel was delivered to you on Jan 4th). Royal Mail has been working under very challenging conditions, considering the large volumes of mail sent over the Christmas period and the current situation with the COVID-19 epidemic in the UK.
As for the calendar, yours is the first negative feedback we have received on a very popular product. I guess the picture you saw on our website, although of high quality, was not enough to give you a good idea of the product. We're always happy to receive inquiries asking for more information on items on sale on our website. |

We endeavour to offer a very good service and we are truly sorry when things go wrong.
Whenever there is a problem we are more than happy to help, please bring it to our attention.
We always try to post our best copies and did not realise the book we sent out on this occasion was damaged. We would never post a damaged or faulty book deliberately.
The customer was contacted and offered to choose between a reduction and a replacement.
As for the time it took for the parcel to get to the customer, this is unfortunately out of our control. The order was placed just before 5 pm on 04.11.18. The last post collection is at 5 pm, hence the book was posted the following morning.
Most Royal Mail second class parcels are delivered within 2-3 days, but they can occasionally take longer, which, again, is beyond our control.
We do offer a Royal Mail first class service, which costs an extra £1.25. |

The customer contacted us at 6:38 pm on 21/12/17: "Please can you look into why I've not received this order yet." We replied about 30 minutes later:
"Your book was posted by Royal Mail second class (in the morning) on 15/12/17.
I suggest that you check at your local post office depot, as your parcel might be waiting for collection.
We are not able to track second class items, unfortunately. This is a very busy time of the year and the post can take longer than usual.
Please let me know if your local post office can help."

When we process an order though we try to be fair and charge the customer the actual cost of postage. In the case of your order, we charged you £2.50 instead of £4 for postage. |
